It is FABULOUS! It is lightweight and I can wear it with my regular bra or my mastectomy bra. A weight “off my shoulders”. I wish I could knit and make more but I am not as talented as your knitters!
I just received a knitted knocker I ordered for my best friend, who just had her breast removed several weeks ago. Lightweight, easy to wash. I was so impressed that I downloaded the pattern muself and made two more!!! Thank you for the wonderful tutorial to walk me through making one and this passion for making us smile with a bit of softness and knitted love!
Got my knockers in 8 days. Thank you Ashley M in Maryland! I stopped wearing my silicone prosthesis as soon as I got the knitted knockers. I’ve used it for a week now when I go to my radiation (14/33) treatments and they are the most comfortable and lightest prosthesis. I absolutely love my Knitted Knockers! I’m still healing so I’m not wearing them just yet. I’ve tried them on and I’m in love with them. They’re so soft and light as a feather (I had a double mastectomy which took off 10lbs!). Having these in my bra was like next to nothing but still provided an adorable shape!

I was absolutely thrilled to receive in the post my beautifully packaged & well presented “knockers”, one which will be for swimming and one other, which I am currently wearing instead of my cumbersome silicone prosthesis. Knowing that it has been lovingly made for me makes me feel very special indeed, it is a brilliant design & so much more comfortable than anything similar I have tried before.
